Who is Gasper Dolinar?

My name is Gašper Dolinar (born 03.09.1994, Slovenia), founder of the YouTube channel AttractPassion and the artist behind this brand. I create symbolic paintings, where each piece tells a story of personal transformation. Through my art and daily videos, I have connected with over 50 million people worldwide, helping them find meaning in their challenges and discover their unique path.

I believe we all choose to come here to lead a unique path. When we learn to connect with our nature, we can go beyond the conditioned habits of thinking and feeling and express our own point of view in a way that feels most rewarding. Not every song resonates with everyone, but when we discover what speaks to us, we can acknowledge it, embrace it, and become so skillful at it that we no longer want to return to the habits of our old self,  because this new life feels so much better. My job in this process is to help people connect with their inner song. A melody of life that gives them meaning to breathe, exist, connect, and create.

I feel that my purpose is to help people see that we all have a compass within, guiding us to where we truly belong. I want to continue helping as many people as possible for as long as I can.

On my channel, I share practical guidance for modern life, helping people to stay fully alive despite the noise of the world, reconnect with their inner voice, make breakthroughs amidst overwhelming information, and turn their passions into a life mission to make the world a brighter place. I also guide people from all walks of life to experience more peace in their lives, find meaning in painful or challenging moments, let go of past struggles and attachments, and move through personal crises with greater direction and purpose.

I also support artists in organizing themselves, helping them harness their sensitivity and inspiration to create meaningful work that impacts others. Sensitivity is what connects us with life. We can only sense great ideas if we stay in touch with our senses.

But ideas are usually not the challenge. The challenge is taking these ideas, organizing them practically, and sticking to sometimes a boring process, so we can eventually complete a great work that could only come through us. I’m not saying this process is boring, but it’s not always purely fun and playful either. Character is built both in play and in struggle. The process of creating any great work requires a balance between the two.

In this modern, overwhelming world, many people try to become less sensitive so they won’t feel the constant pressure and stress that has become part of most lives. I like to remind everyone that we don’t need to suppress our senses; we need to learn to use them consciously. To sense what feels real to us and let that truth guide us into a lifestyle where our sensitivity feels valued, not ignored.

This isn’t about demanding that others respect who we are, but about living in a way that shows we respect ourselves. Self-respect, when it comes from love, naturally reflects in our relationships and the connections we build with others.

That’s why most great creators, artists, scientists, and innovators describe themselves as sensitive to a world beyond the material. We need to be. We need to remember that there is more to life than what we see; otherwise, nothing truly new to this material dimension can be created.

I’m very grateful to say that my paintings and prints have been shipped to more than 30 countries. I don’t share this to brag, but to inspire those who might be doubting their own creative spark. You can make a change when you become the change, when you give life to the version of yourself that feels authentic and joyful to be alive.

Not every day will feel like this, but we all know when we aren’t living to the fullest, because something feels missing. What’s missing is noticing how great you truly are, and living up to that greatness is what you really need. It’s not an easy transition, but I would say it’s worth every tear and every moment of resistance we experience along the way.

Even if we fail, and nothing works, and we return to our old ways, we will still know that we tried, and that we opened ourselves to new, unexpected experiences. At least you can’t say you didn’t try.

I stay by the saying: no man ever steps into the same river twice, for it’s not the same river, and he is not the same man. It goes for ladies too. :) Don’t be afraid to cross that river of change. Show us what that story of the Phoenix is all about.

My journey started in a completely different field. Since I was 12 years old, I had been passionate about freestyle mountain biking. Around the age of 16, I began training more seriously, and eventually built my own course close to home. After turning 18, I started competing and filming short YouTube videos — something I loved as a form of creative expression even back then.

I had goals in that sport, and eventually I achieved them, until I decided to go all in and try to turn it into a career. At that time, I quit my job. My girlfriend Maja and I packed everything we owned into our small car, sold what we couldn’t take, and went on a trip to Spain in December 2017.

As soon as the trip began, something inside me shifted. I suddenly felt free — like my hungry, untamed self before conditioning, before school, before the world told me who I needed to be. And with that freedom came a strong urge to start drawing again.

On that trip, I began drawing, but this time I decided to take it as far as possible. I promised myself that if this was calling me, I would pursue it fully and stay curious about where it would lead.

It was during the challenging moments of that trip that art kept me sane. We ended up broke, with only around 130 euros in our bank account near Barcelona, sleeping in a car, cooking behind it in an abandoned parking lot, and wondering how we would get out of this situation. We had anticipated some challenges, but not so quickly, and perhaps part of us hoped for a miracle.

We had saved money but no income stream, and we decided we wouldn’t ask our families for help — we had no one else to rely on. And in hindsight, this experience became our miracle. Being in that space of uncertainty forced us to turn inward. After long days of contemplation, devastation, and feelings of failure, we began applying principles of the power of the mind, faith, and the law of attraction. We became intentional. We asked life for direction, guidance, and signs.

(We took this photo on one of our darkest days, just before we made a decision: This is it. We will not be victims of our own choices. It’s over. We will find a way. We captured this moment to remember it forever, to remember where we started, because we knew that one day we would share this story, and it might inspire someone. The scars on my fingers are from mold. We had been renting a room for a month, and it was so filled with mold that both our hands swelled, leaving these marks. After moving out and starting to sleep in our car, the scars eventually healed — no medicine, just the freedom of the soul.)

At first, nothing happened. Then, slowly, strange synchronicities began to appear, one after another, guiding me deeper into art and into a mystical part of life. It felt like there was an omnipresent force listening to our thoughts, desires, and intentions — delivering what we needed in the most unexpected ways when we became conscious and intentional.

That was my wake-up call. I started communicating with this force, which gradually led me to painting, starting my YouTube channel, dedicating myself to helping others, and showing up as an example of a life filled with love, passion, and creative work that can inspire growth, change, and service.

I learned this the hard way, but maybe that’s the only way. I’ve come to believe that every breakdown is a wake-up call disguised as a challenge. The message is always the same: Wake up, my friend. The life you’ve been living until now is not what you were made for. There is so much more you are meant to become. Let go of the old ways and choose a path that will lead you forward.

The whole story is too long for this space, but I hope you got to know me a little better.

With love,
Gasper
